Melody Eraser Support (English)
Melody Eraser is an iOS app that removes center-panned melody — vocals or
lead instruments — from music you already own, leaving a backing track you can
practice along with.
Frequently asked questions
- Which audio files are supported? —
DRM-free audio files, such as tracks ripped from your own CDs or purchased
as DRM-free downloads. Tracks from streaming services (DRM-protected)
cannot be processed.
- The melody isn't removed completely —
By design, the app removes the "center component": sound present in both
channels at the same level and timing. How well it works depends on how
the track was mixed. Listening with earphones is recommended.
- Where are exported files saved? —
In the "Melody Eraser" folder of the Files app.
